simple joy {my louie}

over my spring break a few weeks ago

i got to spend the WHOLE week with my puppy :)

we went on lots of walks!

louie likes to sit outside his "girlfriend" pheobe's house,

searching for her & hoping that she'll come out and play.

it's very sweet :)

...my louie is definitely a simple [sometimes crazy!] joy :)

i can't believe spring is here already!

although it's sad that we really didn't have a winter,

i am happy to see flowers blooming and sunlight past 4pm...

...so i thought it was time for a new blog banner to welcome in spring :)

first & last ski trip

in late february i headed up to the mountain to celebrate

my dad's birthday and to finally try out my new skis!

it was my first (and sadly last) time hitting this slopes this season.

but i couldn't have asked for a more perfect ski day...

lots of fresh, groomed power.

on my drive to and from NY i always pass all of these pretty, country barns.

so i finally got some quick shots of them on this trip.

there's something about them that i just love.

usability studies

i have been seriously MIA on this blog! i did some traveling and then work for classes just became too much. but i have LOTS of photos to upload from recent trips...so there will definitely be posts very soon :)

here are some photos from what's been consuming most of my time...we've been conducting usability studies and interviews for a new media player application for android devices. it's  a lot of fun but really, really time-consuming!
