since i've been a pretty bad blogger lately,
i didn't get a chance to honor my favorite season with photos [so sad!]

and haven't the fall leaves been beautiful this year?

peace in the morning

i went on my first morning walk since i hurt my foot and, although my foot is a little sore,

it made me so happy to be back out on the walking path :)

i've missed that peaceful time when you get to be a part of the world waking up around you...
the pink sunrise sky fading into a pale blue,
the dew droplets twinkling on the grass & flowers,
the bunnies peacefully hopping about before anyone can bother them.

...it's mother nature yawning and rising from her sleep,
such a beautiful time of day...

hershey weekend

right before we headed to the beach,

my friend laurie came to visit me in hershey for a fun-filled weekend!

we started off our friday with delicious mexican food & margaritas...

 ...then had a relaxing morning at the cocoa beanery to talk about web design...

...we continued with a colorful shopping spree & refreshing starbucks tea...

 ...then enjoyed dinner & drinks at the hotel hershey...

...and we ended our weekend with relaxing massages at the hershey spa!

such a perfect weekend with my friend :)

photo-a-day june #25-30

here are my FINAL six photos of the june photo-a-day challenge.

the challenge was so fun - it was a nice little creative outlet each day!
i'll have to try it again soon. 

#25) something cute: lauren conrad's cute pink suede heels at kohls! too bad i can't wear heels for a long time because of my foot, so sad.
#26) where i shop: tj maxx. i'm a sucker for sales.
#27) bathroom: my new fancy hand soap makes me very happy :) the color. the yummy sandalwood & vanilla smell. it's perfect.
#28) on the shelf: my daily products.
#29) soft: a few soft, fluffy clouds outside my once-a-week "office"
#30) a friend: mango smoothies and a muffin that i shared with laurie when she came to visit! so good :)

right now i'm working on some photos from the past few weeks, including LOTS of beach photos :) so new posts will be coming soon...

almost done with the june photo-a-day challenge!

#19) imperfect: i was really bummed when my favorite computer bag broke rendering it unusable - but then i fixed it with a simple black binder ring and voilà, good as new.
#20) favorite photo: i am obsessed with tree silhouettes and pretty skies so, when scrolling through my camera for my favorite photo i've taken, this one made me smile. i just love the bright pink and blue sunset sky.
#21) where i slept: i had to come home unexpectedly so i slept in my bed at my parent's house with the sweet little bear who holds my spot when i'm away :)
#22) from a high angle: the view from my dad's hospital room.
#23) movement: a cool ceiling fan on a hot day. such a blessing!
#24) on my mind: making a sweet message from my dog. hoping that my dad feels better soon!
