leafless trees of winter,

i will miss photographing you.

your bare, intricate branches

braving the snowy, frigid weather.

dark silhouettes

against a canvas of winter sky.

irish film festival

i went downtown today

to check out the movie "ondine"

at the irish film festival.

we were welcomed by some

live traditional irish music.

then right before the movie

there was an audience sing-a-long

to "oh danny boy"...

how perfect is that?

tea & honey

when you're sick,

there's nothing quite like

hot tea and honey...

and "how i met your mother" reruns...and naps.

i welcomed spring today with open arms

...and some beautiful yellow tulips.

hello sunshine, open windows, & bare feet.

goodbye cold hands, winter coats, snow & sleet.
