color crush: mango & basil

this color combo is inspired by all of the fruit & herb recipes i've been seeing lately.

this mango basil sorbet recipe caught my eye [vodka optional?...yes, please].

the yellowish-orange & earthy green make a nice spring outfit :)

new home "sweet" home

well i made it!

i moved into my new home in the sweet town of hershey this weekend.

the town is really nice & it has a pretty walking trail around the medical campus

[dare i say, it might even rival my beloved PSU golf course trail!]

there's even hershey kisses on the tops of the lamp posts downtown.

can't get much sweeter than that!

should be a fun summer...

well the time has come!

all my reports are turned in, all my bags are packed

and i'm moving out for the summer.

i'm heading to hershey for a brief pit stop,

then heading home for a week to see all of my favorite people :) 

after that i'll be moving into my new apartment

& meeting my 3 new roommates

[fingers-crossed that they're normal - or at least quiet & clean ;)]

i can't believe may is here already!

this month holds a few endings and new beginnings for me

goodbye classes, penn state campus, and graduate housing...

hello research, visiting family & friends, and moving to hershey!
